The Frederick Loewe Theatre is a traditional proscenium-style theater in which the NYU Department of Music and Performing Arts presents mainstage musicals, orchestral concerts, and operas as well as chamber concerts, choral presentations, dance, new music, and music technology performances, among other offerings. It is equipped with a video projector and sound system, and is also used as a lecture hall for large classes. Nearly every week there are exciting performances taking place in the Loewe.
