Qwest Center is a combination of an event center and arena that hosts a variety of events, including national music tours, comedians, speakers/lectures, sports, and business conference.

The facility opened in September 2003 and contains more than 1,100,000 square feet, including a 194,000 square foot exhibition hall, more than 63,000 square feet of meeting space and an 18,300 seat arena. The site includes approximately 4,500 parking spaces, including a 3-story, 500 stall parking garage attached to the arena portion of the facility. The facility is connected via skywalk to the 450 room Hilton Omaha. The Hilton Omaha is Nebraska's only 4 Diamond AAA property.
