Doug Benson

Doug's quirky inventiveness and unique style have led him to a successful and eclectic career as a stand-up comic, writer and actor. Throughout the 90's, he appeared on virtually every stand-up show on cable television. He has contributed off-beat sketch acting on HBO's irreverent "Mr. Show with Bob and David" and Comedy Central's "The TV Wheel". Doug is both the writer and loudspeaker voice for the WB Network's long-running TV and radio campaign. He was well-reviewed for his performance as Andy Warhol in the musical play "Waiting for Studio 54" which has various LA runs at Luna Park, the Hudson Theatre and The HBO Workspace. Not one to be outdone when it comes to diversity, he has recently guested on NBC's "Friends", debuted at the prestigious Montreal Just For Laughs Festival, paneled on VH-1's surprise hit "The List", and made a very successful stand-up appearance on CBS's "The Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn."
